2016 Honda Civic Seat Covers - Best Fit and Comfort Seat Covers
Custom Style Fit seat covers built for the 2016 Honda Civic. The 2016 Civic is the tenth-generation model, sold as a sedan and a coupe. It has two front seats with tall headrests, a rear bench seat that folds 60/40 on EX and higher trims, and side airbags in the outer edge of each front seat. Our covers fit all of it, front and rear, with a factory look. You can put them on yourself at home in under an hour.
How Custom Style Fit works on the 2016 Civic
Seat Cover Solutions does not sell one cover that is meant to fit every car. Our Custom Style Fit covers come in set sizes: two sizes for the front seats, six for the headrests, and two for the back seat. Together they fit the 2016 Civic's seats snugly. The front covers wrap all the way around each seat, the headrests are fully covered, and the cover lies flat instead of hanging loose.
Before you buy, use the Get Started tool on our site to choose your exact year, make, model and trim. This makes sure you get the right sizes, and it is what gives you a factory look instead of the loose, baggy look of one-size-fits-all covers.
The tenth-generation Civic was made from 2016 to 2021. If you have a different year, see the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 or 2021 Civic page. The Civic hatchback came out in 2017, and the 2017 Civic Si has its own page.

What a full set covers, front and rear
Many owners ask what a "full set" includes. Here is the simple answer. A front and back order covers both front seats, both front headrests, and the whole rear bench seat with its headrests. On EX and higher trims, the rear seat back splits 60/40, and a Velcro strip lets each side fold down without taking the cover off. On the LX sedan, the rear seat back folds down in one piece. The middle part of the rear cover comes off with two Velcro strips, so you can still use the rear armrest and cupholders.
- Both front seats, fully covered, including the headrests
- Rear bench seat, with Velcro openings so the 60/40 seat still folds (EX and higher trims)
- Rear armrest and cupholders still usable
- Front and rear covers are also sold separately if you only need one row
All three rear seats in this Civic have a lap and shoulder seat belt, and the cover fits around every buckle. Some videos online show people unbolting the bottom of the rear seat to put covers on. You do not need to do that with our covers. They tuck over the seat and fasten with Velcro, so you do not need tools for the back seat either.

Eco-leather that is easy to clean
The covers are made of eco-leather with many tiny holes in it, not animal hide. It looks like factory seats but wipes clean with a damp cloth, whether the mess comes from kids, dogs, coffee or gym bags. It resists water and stains, and it stands up well to dog claws, so it is a good choice if you have pets. The tiny holes are not just for looks. They let heat through, so you can still use the heated front seats on the EX-T, EX-L and Touring trims.
The covers come in seven colors, all in the same eco-leather. These are our standard product photos, taken in a truck, so use them to pick a color, not to judge the Civic seat shape:

Our own spill test: cola, juice and Gatorade wiped off the eco-leather.
Safe with side airbags, and it stays in place
The 2016 Civic has side airbags in the outer edge of each front seat, so a seat cover must let them open properly in a crash. Our covers are tested to make sure the airbags can open fully. On the underside, a silicon grip layer holds onto the seat so the cover does not slide around.
Easy to install, no tools needed
No glue, no zip ties, no cutting, and no trip to a shop. The covers hook and strap onto your seats, and you can put them on in under an hour. We have install videos for sedan front seats, back seats and back-seat headrests. If a headrest or a seat belt gives you trouble, our install team can help by phone or email.

How the price compares
Having a shop redo the 2016 Civic's seats can cost over $1,000, and you may be without your car for days. A cheap one-size-fits-all cover costs less, but it looks cheap and slides around. Unlike those covers, ours are safe with side airbags. Our covers sit in the middle: a factory look and airbag safety for much less than a shop would charge. You can see the current price for a full set in the tool at the top of this page. Shipping is free to the lower 48 states and usually takes two to three business days. You get 30 days to return your order, and a warranty that covers defects for the first buyer. Have a question before you order? Read the FAQ or call our US team at 763-334-3581.
2016 Honda Civic seat cover FAQ
What are the best seat covers for a 2016 Honda Civic?
Look for three things: covers tested with side airbags, a snug fit that wraps the whole seat, and a non-slip underside so they stay in place. Our Custom Style Fit covers have all three.
Does a full set include the back seat?
Yes, if you order front and back. It covers both front seats and the whole rear bench seat. On EX and higher trims, Velcro openings let the 60/40 rear seat fold with the cover on. You can also buy just the front seats.
Does Honda make seat covers for the Civic?
Honda sells its own seat covers through its dealers and parts stores. Our Custom Style Fit covers give you a factory look, are safe with side airbags, and you can put them on at home.
Will these work with the Civic's heated seats?
Yes. The eco-leather has tiny holes that let heat through, so the heated front seats on the EX-T, EX-L and Touring trims still work.
Where is the best place to buy them?
Buy from us directly. You can check the fit for your exact 2016 Civic trim with the Get Started tool, and shipping is free to the lower 48 states. Many online listings group every Civic from 2016 to 2026 into one product, which makes it hard to know what will fit.
